A Passion for Gardens

Whatever the reason for loving your garden, we can offer members a programme of interesting activities and events throughout the year, and access to our Trading Store.  Most of our members have small gardens, and whether you have a particular interest in roses, dahlias, fruit or vegetables, you are sure to find like-minded gardeners willing to share their enthusiasm and knowledge with you.

Illustrated Talks
From Autumn to Spring we organise monthly illustrated talks on subjects of interest to gardeners, which are held at the Methodist Centre in Rose Street.

Horticultural Shows
We present four shows a year, in Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter, open to beginners and more experienced gardeners, with a wide range of classes which allow you to exhibit your gardening skills, or simply to visit and experience the results of others hard work!

The Trading Store
Open to members of the association only, the Trading Store provides a diverse range of gardening items from seeds, bulbs and fertilisers to composts, pots and tools, many of which are available at specially-discounted rates.

All of this for £6 family membership , (or £4 if you're 60 or over) per calendar year!

Follow the links above or on the left to find out more about any of our activities and how to join us.
